Makes sense. I had the venom computer narrowed down to the TPS connection causing the problem. For some reason it looks like its draining the voltage or sending some type of noise. Im gonna tap the TPS in a different spot on the car and see if that works, if not ill send the venom computer back as its probably malfunctioning.

Thanks for all the help guys and anymore input is still appreciated.

GTE sorry i never got back to you on the solution.

This is sorta a repost of above...

Venom computer came back and worked great with the repgorammed TPS voltage trigger to be 3.6 instead of looking for 3.75 System worked great for a week then started tripping a light and putting the car in limp mode.

looks like the TPS sensor connection was the culprit. read above.

Saved me a trip to the mechanics, looks like ill be contributing to is300.net again soon

Got the code:
P1656 OCV Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1)

Anyone know if that's the oil control valve for the VVTI? Or what is it?

my code book is at work. but, toyota doesnt adjust the valves using oil( they use the intake cam gear) your thinking of honda. If you havent gotten a response from someone by monday night, I'll try to see if I can help. in the meantime... have you tried googling it?
