No, I think it would look better on a Grapite Grey Pearl IS for sure.
Thats the carbon bonnet (hood) made by the tuning shop I usually go to called LUCK.

The owner says in his homepage that he doesn't think the fit and finish is top quality though. I've seen the actual thing but it not good against wear as well. I considered putting it on my Altezza, but the cost of $900 wasn't exactly in my league. I ordered a TRUST turbo kit at LUCK yesterday by the way. (Thats why I can't afford another $900).
How much is the turbo kit?
$900 for a carbon fiber hood should be consider cheap, for carbon fiber product that is. Does anyone know if there is a carbon fiber undertray and rear spoiler currently available for the IS300? I want one but I am so caught up with projects right now that I don't have time and money to build one.
i think its real ugly....well actually now i don't think so..but chek it out..

the first time i seen a car with a fiberhood..i thought they got into an accident and didnt have money to repaint it....

however..when someone told me that it was styllish..i started liking it....

in other words...its ugly..and the only way to like it..is to think u do.....haha...
haha, you are right nemesis
its damn ugly, but its cool
Ewwwww.

It's rice, plain and simple. Unless you've got a turbo or supercharger on the IS300, it's all show and no go, just like all the little chumps in their 1.9L N/A Civic EXs with Altezza tails.

At least paint it, for f**k's sake. You don't see the McLaren F1 rolling around with its carbon fiber body in the buff.

Civic's are a 1.6L not a 1.9L, even with a swap it's a 1.8L or 2.2L engine. I dunno where you get 1.9L from.
maybe it was a typo, #6 is right under #9 on the keypad. Don't have to take is seriously.

Ka
just pointing out something that isn't true. Whats wrong with pointing out something wrong? Calm down boy..don't gotta get all defensive over it and take it SERIOUSLY now?

For 1 mil it had better not!

LOL! Thanks for pointing that out. My wife has a '96 EX and I didn't even know its displacement. All I do know is that it is one slow-ass piece of sh*t that I refuse to drive. It amazes me to see how happy some jagoffs on Honda boards are with a 17+ second quarter mile time.

Hopefully next Spring I can get her to finally give it up for the A6 2.7T. She's a "point A to point B" driver, but does love that Audi interior.
totally agree...unless you slap on a blower...it somewhat makes up for it's lack of power. but still kinda slow
