my dad emailed me this link and I was really surprised. The IS300 as ninth on the last at $59 paid out per vehicle insured for theft claims.

I don't know if a lot of people are getting jacked by leaving the credit card key in the glove compartment and thieves using it or if the car is being towed and stripped for parts.

The IS is relatively easy to enter and not so easy to drive for a thief (unless the key situation, which I find unlikely).

It has some to do with the value of the stolen vehicle. The more expensive it is, the higher ins pay-out value would be.
I wonder if items stolen from inside of the vehicle while stationary is considered theft. We had a few of those here. I remember seeing 1 or 2 ISs actually being stolen. 1 was towed and stripped for parts.
