[IS 300 Newb]

Hello IS Forum members,

I have a 2003 IS 300 and I have a part that I cannot identify. I think its from the front driver side door somewhere.
Please help.

Well that's a new one for me, I can't say I've ever seen anything like that before on these cars. It does say "L" and it's clean, so perhaps you're right about the door. Maybe something with the door handles, locking mechanisms, or latching? Does everything operate and sound normal?

If you look at the last picture, it's looks like one side is exposed to the elements. Yes, everything sounds normal.

Not sure. I’ve seen some odd metal brackets that allow plastic covers to snap over them to hide unsightly pieces like seat rails.
