CANADIAN IS vs US IS

I know that when it comes to the E36 BMW M3, the US got the 240 horsepower version whereas CANADA got the 326 horsepower eurospec car. Also, I know that emissions are restrictions are harsher here than in europe. For example, the BMW M5 makes 394 horsepower here but 400 in Germany, Mercedes V12 389 horsepower (1999 & earlier) and 408 in Germany.............. Anyways back to the earlier CANDA talk, if there are less restrictions as far as emissions in CANADA do their cars make a few more horses (one less catalytic converter or a less restrictive version)...

I think the regulation here in Canada is pretty much the same as in the US. We also get the same, detuned (240HP) M3 here. However, we don't have the 3 series station wagon as well as the A4, S4 Avant due to tighter regulations (which kinda sux)
Canadians get headlight washers and different options packages, but same HP...
hey mika!!! that's great! no station wagons!!!
they are just too damn ugly anyway, man I want to live in canada

Sorry for rehashing an old topic, but the Canadian-spec IS300 rides 16mm higher at the front and 29mm higher at the rear.
