California Duster, and Passenger Seat Weight Sensor.

Couple of things I wanted to share.

First, after a short discussion on GGP being a dust collector, I’ve decided to buy one of those “California Dusters”. Let me tell you, that thing works wonders on my Graphite Gray! I washed and waxed it almost 2 weeks ago and every day I sweep the car with the duster, which only takes about 30 seconds. Other than occasional spot-cleaning, I haven’t washed my car since. It still looks great! At the right angle, you can see that thing swipe the dust away!

Second, I’ve just discovered (with the help of a friend of mine), that the passenger seat has a weight sensor!!! The seatbelt sign only goes on if there is weight applied to the seat! Isn’t that funny? I always thought it was a function of passenger door closing and opening…

Anyway, that’s it for now.

There's an actual warning in the user manual that if you have something heavy like a laptop or box/package that it will set off the seatbelt light.

and yes the California duster rocks...be sure to get all the excess wax it has on it first though. Juse leave it on a paper shopping bag overnight and you'll see a huge oil/wax spot on the bag in the morning.
