Hi Guys, I'm planning to buy a 2006 or 2007 IS350 soon (currently own 2002 bmw 330ci) and I have a few questions about the packages (ie sport, premium). How do you know if an is350 is equipped with sport package by just looking at it? is there any cosmetic differences in interior or exterior? what does the premium package include and is there a cosmetic difference too? thanks in advance

Try Lexus Canada website and go to download brochure or get a brochure online section. You will be able to find the year of your model, in this case IS350. PDF files for a particular model year are available for download and you will be able to read the optional packages the year Lexus Canada offered.

Have fun!

To tell the difference by interior trims:
- Premium is the basic: no memory seats, no heated and vented front seats.
- Sports package has memory seats, aluminum pedals, non-illuminated scuff plates.
- Luxury has memory seats, illuminated scuff plates, rear sunshade

In other words,
if it has memory seats, then it's either Sports or Luxury.
if it has memory seats and sunshade, it's Luxury.

Is that specific to Canada?

In the US premium is vented/heated seats and woodgrain.

Only way to get plain seats is to have no package on the car at all.
