Well i got a 01 OB

i took out the stock 6 disc because a cd was jammed

and putting everything back


the passenger heated seat button doesnt light or the trac light button

i know its a small thing but its annoying me

and crester i saw a post regarding the lights on the snow button on the side of the shifter, every figure out how to fix the light also?

Hmm... when I pulled apart my dash to install the iPod adapter I had a similar thing happen. To be honest... first thing I'd do is give the switches a bit of a love tap. Sometimes that'll "wake up" the light. If that doesn't do anything... just check out all the connections for the switch/bulb and make sure they're connected. To be honest... if the bulbs were working before... it's probably just something loose.

If not... then just replace the bulbs. There are little bulbs inside the switches.

As for the ECT/SNOW switch issue there's a little bulb in there as well that can be replaced. The switch pushes upwards from underneath the transmission gate trim.

and time to install the system the cd changer is toast


replace all speaker recommend any shops to do full installation

When I did my NAVI install, the TRAC button and DRIVERS heated seat light stopped working. I guess they're pretty fragile bulbs. But those ones only took 5 mins to re-install as pulling off that panel is a piece of cake. Its when your HVAC lights go out..........dang that's a pain.

They are little LEDs that Lexus will sell you at like $8 a pop!!!

i can get the harness locally from one of my wholesalers. it's definitely more pricey than anywhere in the states but it is local. pm me for more details.

I bought alpine 6 1/2 for the front

and alpine 6x9 for the rear

i got a fosgate amp and sub

and the in dash metra kit

the search continues for a deck, harness, wiring kit!!

any recommendations ?

i was looking for double din with navi

but i got a garmin nuvi 260 with text to speech for xmas gift

im stuck between alpine and pioneer

looking with front aux out and usb

and at least 2 pre-out puts for the rear

went to futureshop today to look at the deck there

and there no buttons on decks no more, everything is controlled by one stupid knob
i ask the guy how u switch from one radio station to another
he's like click this, turn this blah blah im like thats too confusing
what happen to present button on the bottom and he looked at me and gave a funny look

hopefully within two weeks will be installed

Fun thing today

the trac light is working and one heated passenger light is now working

funny thing is a broke the clip from the gas tank today filling up at sunco

and my headlamp washers dont pop up

i heard a noise for a second but they dont come up ?

Need help on that

Some quick comments...

the parts for the gas tank cover can be replaced...

the headlight washers sometimes don't fire when there's not enough fluid.

I notice that if I fire the headlight washers a lot... they'll eventually stop spraying... even tho there's still fluid to clean the windshield. However... once I refill the washerfluid reservoir... the headlight washers work again.
