This is just a direct bolt on right? I did this setup before, both brand new, on a diff IS and it started vibrating about ~10k miles. Had them recut with them on the car, and now no more!

Anyway, I'm going to do this set up again for my sis's car, and was wondering if I had to get them cut prior to their installation to a certain tolerance or what not? Any help is appreciated.

No need to resurface/cut brand new rotors. They are already cut/balanced to spec from the factory. Dude, why would you get your sister the semi-metalic pads, just go with OEM and call it a day. OEM are super quiet and don't dust, and offer good performance. Nuff said.


I found from own expirience that cut rotors usually warp within 5K mi or so.

perhaps they were fake Brembo or user error. people warp OE rotors as well.

i drive pretty hard, touge, autox, and road course. my rotors have yet to warp. I have Brembo's up front and some Chinese rotors in the rear. 4 Slot, Zinc Plated, I love them.
