Brand of snow tire make a difference?
doing some pricing right now b/c of the crazy snow that's coming soon- anyhow- wanted to know the major pros/cons of buying Michelin, Bridgstone, etc compared to a Cooper, General, etc.. brand of tire?
I heard from some tire retailers that they're all manufactured by the same factories anyhow? Am i just paying for the branding? Being in marketing myself- i'm well aware that consumers will pay 200-300% mark up on items just b/c they are the 'right' name brand versus true value/performance!
ANyone have any comments/factoids on this?
