rear - 12.09in. solid
thanks fusion but one more thing is that all the way around, or is the front bigger,

Supra rotors are around 13" front and back, with 4 pots up front. They are huge for stock brakes.

will the SUPRA BRAKES fit on the IS300?? HMMMMM. Maybe I will try the SUPRA rotors. Anyone change their rotors yet? What did you use? Oh, with Supra rotor, do you need to change to the 18in. rims?
also if anyone is intrested in a front set, there is one for sale on ebay right now for a great deal. look under toyota supra turbo
Wouldn't it make more sense that if the front calipers are bigger then the rotors should be bigger too? Why do I always have these questions!
Thanks ADREY for the info. Trying to get these rotors off EBAY. Thanks again. Did you install them yourself? Skill level needed? I've changed the ROTORS on my 98 ITR 100 times and it took ALL of 5min.

ADREY, are you talking about the BREMBO's on EBAY?
It is a little unusual to have larger rear rotors, but Toyota seems to know what they are doing. The IS300 braking performance has been considered excellent by all the magazines that have tested the car.

I think many of the Lexus cars share the same braking system. Also (I could be wrong) but I thought some year of Supra also had larger rear rotors.

Interesting but can someone explain why?
I asked the same question (on a different forum) when this forum was in its infancy, and if I recall correctly, the answer I was given was that the larger rear brake rotor would facilitate cooling since it's a solid disc instead of ventilated. But other than that, beats the hell outta me.
FYI the BREMBO rotors on EBAY the are for the Toyota Supra Turbo do NOT fit the IS300 according to the seller. OH WELL.
