As you guys can see im a newbie, joined today. The reason for this post is to voice my recent enthusiasm to the is300. i go through cars quicker then i go through my toothbrush. im 22 and on my fifth. im not posting to brag, but to do just the opposite. i get bored of cars real quickly. Ive had my car for 1.3years (long time for me) and i rarely do any mods, b/c im worried about resale and warranty voids. but after seeing what is_dude did to his car and how tight and clean lilis300 got his to look, got me second guessing. My next venture was going to be the g35 coupe. My prior was the s2000, so as you can see I like sports cars. If anyone would like to give me advice or would like to post their mod victories or mishaps please do so. Im looking to do something ASAP, and my tires are in need of replacement. Do I stay or do I go, you decide.

p.s. i have an '02 silver 5spd

if you got about $15K, go make plans to drop your car off at Toyomoto....its just as simple as that....the IS becomes a totally different car.....

yep, since you're in Miami drive over to http://www.Toyomoto.com (it's near the airport) and talk to Lance about making your car a beast. And thanks for the compliments. Anywhere from 10,500 or so and you'll have a screamer.

depending on how much power would you want?

being a mustang guy, would you rather beat GT's, and keep up with cobra's? or beat down on cobra's?

you could do a custom kit and spend less then $15k..certainly, their prices change and fluctuate and they arent the current ones on their website anymore...but considering that much $$ would get you into the 450rwhp range, you wont have to worry all too much about beating the competition out there....

It will probably be even more than $15k because you'll spank that tranny pretty quick. But if you convert your car into a 500HP monster, you might not get bored with it as easily.

Buy an Automatic...Go to toyomoto ask for Stage II which will cost you 13k turn key tax included...Wait for 2 months..And you will have tme of your life...over 400rwhp and blazing past cobras like they are honda's...Not to mention your car sounding like a Boeing jet taking off...

Hey Lucid! This is ShadowS2000 from s2ki.com. Welcome to IS300.net. This is an awesome board and IMO equivalent to s2ki.com in that there is a wealth of information here. If I remember correctly you made the rear panel speakers for the s2k right? But anyhow, welcome again and I look forward to seeing what kind of stuff you come up with for the IS300! :D :chill:

they raced more than once, no matter what others say. the guy driving was a young white dude. he was putting the pedal to the floor. he was no match. :boring:
