[Slammed IS]

Does anyone know whether it is legal in Florida to install blue fog lights on a car. I want to change the fog light bulbs on my IS to either blue or white.

From what I have been told by my friends the answer is no. I was told that only police vehicles and other state vehicles can have blue or red lights. But as you see on the roads people down here have them anyway. Either cops don't care or those people have not been pulled over yet. I say if you really don't care about the risks involved go ahead, but why give a cop an excuse to mess with you in the first place.

One question for you, why blue? I think the yellow looks really good, so good I want my turn signals to be the same yellow.

when i lived in florida i got in trouble for just having ny tags on my car. I also got a ticket for headlights so i would probably think they may bust your balls for it. They do in ny

I have a silver and would love blue, but I think the responses are correct. You can not have blue lights.

Yeah, I live in Orlando. To be more specific I live in Dr. Philips. If not blue lights, what about pure white lights.

Pure white might be o.k. your best bet is to call the local police and see what they tell ya.

I think that just blue and red are illegal in all states since you might me "imitating an officer" and apparently that's some sort of crime... =P

Hyper white lights shouldn't be a problem, but then again police seem to have an affinity for pulling people over with modded cars...
