Have you installed the eibach sway bars yet? If so was there a noticeable difference and how long did it take ya to put them on?
Yeah, a few thousand miles ago haha... I've also been using them in the sedan for about 13 years.

It helps with body roll just as they should. Better than stock indeed. The only thing I worry about as a limiting factor is tires.

I didn't install them but would guess 1.5 or 2 hours for each.

Sorry the thread loads so slow on mobile it's hard to go through all the stuff. Sorry if it's up in the post.

I like the feedback. Will probly pick a set for my wagon. Yours is coming along nicely. Exactly what I did myself. Scooped up on that just needs some good tlc for cheap and now it's a rock solid car.

No worries! I didn't post much about the install or differences.

Agreed - It's such a solid nice car. I have no idea what I'd buy in another 10 years. I love 1st gen IS300's!

such a nice car... we purchased a sedan because my wife is not a fan of the wagon.... but i get so jealous/envious when i occasionally see one on the road around the DC area.

have you heard back anything about the play in the caster bushings?

i installed a set some weeks ago - and didn't notice any instability when driving especially considering the amount of movement shown in your vids.

How are the grille and emblem holding up? Hopefully you don't have any chipping issues.

haha funny - I bought both of mine for my single self. Now I'm engaged and she's driving the wagon daily and absolutely loves it. She won't let me take the roof rack off, even when not in use, because she likes to call it "The Adventure Car"

I don't think they're going to update me on the bushings. The new set they sent me are fine but move just as much as the old set. Not sure what to think. I didn't have any issues with the sedan bushings either.

I think I noticed one very small chip on the emblem last weekend.
It could have just been debris stuck to it though - I didn't look closely as I hardly get to drive it anymore haha. It is due for a service this weekend so I'll be making a list of some things, including some new rust starting to show itself. sigh.

Side note, I'm also going to have Blackstone analyze the engine oil. I've been changing it every 3,000 miles but am curious what they can tell me about intervals and basically what's going on inside the engine.
You can order free sample kits here: https://www.blackstone-labs.com
Of course you have to pay for the test when you send the sample in.

Are the sway bars compatible on sedan and wagon? Looking to pick up a set and it seems there is just the one setup. Thanx for any help!
Yes. I'm using Hotchkis Sway bars

Is there any updates to this car? :)
Actually, nothing new to report! I haven't done a single thing to it other than put the stock wheels back on. My significant other hit a pothole (or a dozen) and bent a couple of the Elbrus wheels.

No real current plans other than fixing it up a bit cosmetically. Some rust is starting to show itself on the rockers which is sad to say the least. I thought I got lucky being it didn't have any when I bought it.

I did buy a Fig's hood prop kit last year but haven't installed that yet. I even still have the exhaust heat shield laying around waiting for me to install

Really, just been driving it!
