mine isnt fading but i talked to someone who's tail-light faded, he said his car was out in the sun a lot, and the black chrome lense in his tail-lights faded to chrome, is this true or is he on crack?

it can be true if the paint melts easily.
if you used high temp. paint it is ok or good quality paint.

what are you talking about? im talking about the black chrome lense that comes stock on 02+ is300's

i'm pretty sure it can fade if the car is in the sun all the time, but in that case it would turn dull before going back to chrome..

if its stock, and faded. take it to tehj dealer and replaced for FREE, end of story. 8)

What about JDM Black Chrome Tails? Would those tend to fade especially left in the sun?
