I know that some cars come with black boxes in them which tells thing like how fast your car was going and records other info. So if you happened to crash your car, the cops or insurance company could be able to tell how fast you were going. This could be bad if you crashed your car when your speeding, because your insurance company wouldnt have to fix it. If there is one i want to take it out! (if possible)

Does anyone have any info on this.

thanks

ISFAN-
That is just what I have heard b4 from people. I dont claim to be an expert and I should have stated that is what I heard. And also you dont have to be a c-o-c-k sucker about it. You should be proud that your work for the largest insuance company in the world, but that doesnt gove you the right to be a jerk

I just cam across this:
a quote from http://www.ladman.com/rev/rev.htm

"LEXUS USAGE

So does your Lexus have a "black box" installed? What of the future? A
technical representative contacted Ladman within a few days of our request
to confirm that LexusUSA does not use nor do they intend to use this
type of technology in any of their vehicles. Lexus already makes some of
the safest road cars today without this type of technology onboard. "
