hey-
i recently bought my '02 is- it already had 18"wheels on it. after trying to get them balanced, i found out that 3 out of the 4 are bent pretty badly. has anyone had their chrome wheels remanufactured? i've heard that when this is done, because of the high heat needed,there is a good chance that the chrome will start to flake off. ...any truth to this?

Most wheel refurbishers have a single price for a refinish/fix because the finish invariably gets mucked up, regardless of type if they're correcting any serious problems. Should run $50 to $150 per wheel for fixing/refinishing, depending on what type of finish you decide to go with.
