So has anyone caught the first couple days of the auction?

I think this is going to be a big year for resto-mods. At first I thought they were kinda neat, but now they are starting to annoy me. It seems like everyone is making them. I enjoy seeing cars of pedigree or provinence as they say, or cars that history or historical significance. Hot rodding of every make and model does nothing for me.

I think the Monster Garage cars are an auction equivalent of jumping a shark. I don't think Barrett will be setting sales records this year.

I'll still watch almost all of it. From tonight to Sunday I'm going to try to sqeeze in about 20 hours of watching it.

Watched all of it yesterday and since the start today. The monster garage crap was really bad though, that was when I got up and got dinner :lol: I agree that the resto-mod cars are really popular this year and I don't particularly like them either, some of them have been very nicely done but some are the muscle car equivalent of rice.
