auto brokers ?

Just heard about Hammer Auto Brokers (www.hammerauto.com) yesterday and decided to fill out an order inquiry form today. Does anyone have any experience with them ?

I met a guy at a car wash who recently purchased a new BMW 3-series and mentioned that Hammer Auto could do it for invoice + $1500.

wow....1500 over invoice is a great deal. The lowest that I've heard is around $2500 over invoice direct from the dealer.
Eric....
$2500 over invoice was in regard to my friend who ordered the BMW 330i.....
Eric...
I have heard good things about Hammer but never tried to use them myself.

On the one hand they are "middlemen" that take an additional "cut" of your money, but if they are better negotiators than you (and me) maybe you could end up saving money.
No doubt. If they can beat your target purchase price, why not use them?
Maybe they are called "hammer" because they walk into a dealership with a hammer and threaten to break windows (or kneecaps) unless they get the car at $500 over invoice!

Well, so a guy named Mark from Hammer Auto called me today. We didn't really discuss much. He just told me that this car's going to be really popular when it first comes out around June 15th, so if I wanted it then, he can get me one, but at MSRP. However, if I wait a month, mid-July, he said he can save me a lot of money. With my position at Stevens Creek, it's going to be about then before I get one anyways, so we'll see.

If it saves me money, I'm all for it.
