Ok, got the V1 hardwired, but the damn suction cups keep on falling down. Anyone with it hardwired found a better way to keep it mounted?
Anyone found some 'magical' way to make these suction cups work better??

thanks,
-Bryan

p.s. It is around 100-105 degrees outside, but still...

Clean those suction cups with windex.
Now would be a good time to find spare ones.
I lost mine a long time ago, so I'm still using the original ones.
6 years and holding.

I ditched the suction cups and went for heavy-duty Velcro instead. :chill:
Ok, suction cups worked this afternoon...I'll give them some more time, then I might have to go the velcro route.
thanks!

you could also try using the aerosol window cleaners that foam up, I think it has amonia in it. That works super good at removing any oils from the glass.
