I was driving Eastbound on the 10 fwy in CA... passing near Cal Poly Pomona.... and I get pulled over! Arrgh... I'm not going to blame anyone but mysef... I know it was my bad.

The cop was kinda cool enough to give me a choice though. He told me to pick my ticket... for following too close, or for going 80mph. I didn't have much time to choose.. so I chose 'following too close'. I was lucky he didn't give me two violations, but I was wondering.... which would be more expensive? Did I make the right choice?

i think the speeding ticket would've probably been better.. i was caught on I5 with a 94 mph speeding ticket which was 113 bucks

however, he was generous in that you could've gotten 2 violations which would've been a staggering ~300 bucks
