I've heard that Tyvek by DuPont is very good, from couple friends that use them.. You should look into it mr.clam...

I park on the street and I have a car cover.

I bought the technalon Car cover.
It seems to work well, and it even protects your car from dings.

However, because it is thick, it will require large storage space. My car cover filled up 2/3 my trunk space.

I park outdoor for 24 hours, since I don't have garage at my boarding school. I have just got the cover and I will use it soon.

sambusik,
Try to figure out an altenative to parking there. You might already know this but I'll mention it anyway. If you have noticed mineral deposit stains on the sides of buildings from sprinkler systems most likely it will have the same effect on your car. I hope you get a cover or can park elsewhere. Good Luck.

Mine is parked in my driveway for all to see. There is a big tree above to keep most of the sunlight off the car, but it does get some dirt and bird droppings which require that I wash it often.

At work it is in a covered parking structure.

So - not much sunlight damage - but exposed to the "elements".

I'm parking on the other side of the street now to avoid the water sprinklers. Just means I have to be out of home every weekday by 7:30am because of restricted parking on that side of the street.

Honestly, I'd rather sleep a half hour less than have water stains all over the car!
