I am trying to install the Pioneer D1. Was there anyway to move the climate control below it so that the D1 sits a little higher than where most people have it installed?

For those that have it installed, do you think that visiblity is tooooooo low?

Also, anyone know how big thje screen is on the new 06 IS? Is it 7 inch?

Visibility should be fine, as the screen has an angle feature. And I don't see how you could move the climate controls as they are contoured to the dash. Good luck.

its weird looking down, even if you have the screen tilting up. But people say its better so cops dont pull you over. I like how the standard Acura TL, TX have them high.

Is tilt available in Eclipse model or only Pioneer?

I have no issues with looking down. And I really like the fact that outside cars cannot see the screen (read: cops).

I believe you can tilt the Eclipse one too. And Jensen just came out with one if you are on a budget. Doesn't look too bad, and has center channel out as well. Kind of a cool feature.
