A 5-spd is coming next year and that is what I have been waiting for. I "hate" to see those of you driving your IS300 NOW. I want one too, but I just dont like auto.
Have fun driving such a cool car.

My Lexus Dealer (Grapevine, TX) keeps telling that Lexus will release the IS300 in a 5-spd in December 2000 or Jan 2001.

I corrected him on 3 different occasions. But, he insisted he was correct.

Maybe he has some inside information.

put a deposit on mine for the first white 5speed that comes in. I know my salesman well and trust him, and even though we have no clue when it'll be out, i'll have the first one here......not too bad, since my other car will be paid off by 2001, and i can use that as mad down payment.
