I am looking to get an is300
but the target miles i am looking is 30-45k
i will drive a lot, i want to know those who has plus 45k miles, any major issues? engine, tranny etc.

I know the inline-6 of the is300 is very strong and solid.
Hope that is a fact!!!!

I'm up to 65K and so far everything is fine....

Put 56K on my previous IS. No major problems.

60+k and it feels good, although the tranny is starting to feel funny at times. hard shifts, delayed shifts... going in to the shop this month fo a tuneup.

Im 2 miles from 50k!!! so far no problems, ok well, just some small leakage from the tranny, but dealer fixed that a long time ago, like when the car had 25k. other than that, car has ran very good.

Yah...it's a Toyota...It's gonna go forever...Just change those fluids out on schedule.
