Just wondering.. I haven't seen too many IS300 around here. A friend of mine is thinking about buying one after he saw my solar yellow though.

Hey, I was born in Rochester, NY does that count? I moved to FL when I was 5, oh well boo hoo. Get down to FL where you can drive your IS all year round and not worry.
Florida? no thanks.. I am afraid that some old guy with bad eye sight will hit my is

(isn't that where old people go when they retire?)

so far I've only spotted one IS300 in Rochester. The white IS is own by an asian girl in another university.
My friend spotted another white one yesterday. An old guy was driving it.

good thing I didn't go with white eh?

I am living in Buffalo area, and own a SBM/Ivory is300. I have seen one black and two graphites in Buffalo, so far. The dealer in this area said that they sold some silvers and whites and a solar yellow, too.

By the way, is the dealer in Rochester good? The dealer in Buffalo is good for sales, but is not so good for service (rough treatment of car). I was wondering that if the dealer in Rochester is good enough, I might go to the Rochester dealer for the periodical maintenance. Let me know.
The service is "suppose" to be very good from what my friend told me and from what I saw. They gave me a tour of their facilities after I bought the car, and wow, it was pretty amazing. The service area was very clean, neat, and organized.
Well, they have a big facility partly because they sell so many cars. VW, Lexus, Toyota, Saab, and many more, I forgot what else they sell.
My friend brought in his camry and they did a good job
I thought the same thing to the Buffalo dealer: they should be great, because, after all, they are Lexus. The Buffalo dealer has the dedicated service facility (building) only for Lexus cars with about five lifters and one in-door washing facility. They are organized and clean. When I purchased my is300, the sales person gave me a tour and introduced me to their service staffs. But, service quality always depends mainly on how ther service staff handles your car. Based on my recent two visits, I felt that my car was treated roughly; the settings of seat and climate control were alterd completely different from and did not reset to my original settings; car wash was another problem--they used not so clean cloths to dry up my car, and did not dry completely. These may be small things, but this is Lexus, and I expect only the best.

Maybe in the next service visit, I will stay with my car during the service period, and ask not to wash my car.

I am going in for my 1k service soon, I'll tell you howit goes
From Fairport and looking to buy a 300 in early summer but have yet to see one up close and personal. Lots of stuff online but want to sit in one! Dorschel sold the one that they had and have no new ones coming in. Where do these things hide?
I'd love to buy someone a beer and take a look at their car sometime! Thanks!
