...that's really cool: the drilled pedals and aluminum kickboards/footrest. nice touch. i sorta wish acura did that with the cl's interior. i was looking at the audi TT i really liked how they did the same thing.

Speaking of the armrest,

Has anyone tried to remove the "lid"?? and take it to an appolstry (i cant spell) shop?

I bet that they could make it a little higher and match the leather for a reasonable price. All you'd have to do then is just put the hinge on the rear instead of the side.

I've only been in the IS once, though so maybe that's not possible. Any thoughts on that?
