Altitude will heavily affect performance numbers. My friend Drew in NM ran a 17.5 at the 1/4 track with his Si, while I did a 15.7. He's also at about 5000ft whereas I'm at (uh)... something less than that.

The base model is offered at a competitive price, given its long list of standard features. However, adding options can quickly raise the sticker price close to the upper end, where the IS 300's compact size plays to its disadvantage.
Huh??? Upper end of what ?! - the lower end of a BMW 330?

And you gotta love how he rates the radio as "respectable".

I'm usually not one to knock a review because I own the car, but most of what he said makes me think he's a fruit.

All the reviewers up there seem to be in "wonderland". i.e., check out what he said about depreciation

Read some of his other reviews, and you'll see he was actually quite favorable with the IS.

that guy did such a terrible, slanderous review of the CL that he was removed from the site for a few weeks. so many CL owners (mostly from acura-cl.com) complained that he was removed for a while. his reviews now are a little more complimentory, but still not very accurate.
