What the hell is that thing on the left of the canister of the exhaust. What does it do? Does it make the exhaust quieter. It's an HKS Hi-Power Silent.

It's a twin loop muffler design.

Basically its a noise dampener, so you get the extra effect of having a nice free flowing exhaust without the drone hence the name silent power.

i dont think its a twin loop. I think its just a reverb chamber to soak up some noise in a specific range.
