i was at a light on my way home from the office and some guy (30-something) and his GORGEOUS girlfriend pull up next to me in my acura. he starts edging up, anticipating the light, while both of them looked over. i was like, "you absolutely gotta be kidding me."

the light turned green, and he just jumped all over it and took off. i figured, "well, ok" and dropped the cl-s all the way down, and i passed him effortlessly. at the next light, the guy looks over, seriously pissed, and give me the finger.

uh, nice. WTF?

he was in an ES300 ppl...what was he thinking?

let me put it to you this way: if i messed with an E55 and he beat me, i'd just laugh and wave to him or give him the thumbs up, with or without my girlfriend in the car.

christ, it's like someone's value is dictated by the car he/she drives...it's nuts.

I agree.... This ES300 driver with the trophy girlfriend was probably a self conscious egomanic and it upset him that he lost to you in front of his girlfriend. Oh well, people take defeat in different ways (you have your good sports and bad sports)....

On a related note, wtf is up with people always wanting to race? I don't get it. Does it prove any point at all? No.

Oh and it is weird to hear all these stories of people racing and stuff yet I have never seen it. Like people revving their car to race...never had that happen to me or to anyone else I know.

The only time I have really had someone try to take me was when I was in my old Ls400 (97) with my buddy and 4 chicks in a Pony tried to take me. I am not joking.
