I went to my local audio dealer today and they quoted me 583 dollars for one 10" Alpine Type R speakers plus enclosure, I think a 300 watt Kicker amp, Low level converter, wires and installation. I am totally clueless when it comes to car stereos. I was wondering if this is a good price?

I would have to say no i was qouted about 390 for a single ten kicker comp vr and kicker amp installed with enclosure.

i have an Alpine type E and AMP i can sell you for 210 dollars shipped. I also will include a uncarpeted box i built that you might be able to fix up. it went through the ski pass so it fits well

you can always go to circuit city or best buys.i went to circuit city my first install but i did it my self the second time it was incredibly easy
