It's specifically the Yahoo! photo's site. I'm definately not computer illiterate, but I'll be damned if I can figure out why I don't get the pictures to come up.

Not sure how you're trying to access the pics, but I believe some of the file directories require a username in the query string. Also, some sites utilize a filter or code that prevents you from referencing images from them.
