Air bags

you I never actually looked this up in the IS300 manuals..just thought I'd ask it here.

Aside from having the side airbags, is there anything else unique in our restraint system? i.e. child sensors in the front pasenger seats so that it knows whether or not a child is seated there and whether it's safe to deploy the air bag or not.

I was conversing about this "child in passenger seat" topic with my dealer and he said there are NO sensors for lighter people. ie. children. And you can not disable the passenger air bag. So they must be sitting in the rear, rather in the passenger for their safety. Although he may be wrong.
