Hi guys, I picked up a lightly used set of shocks and springs that I want to install on my car and I was wondering what other parts were needed to complete this job. I'm not necessarily looking for parts that would be good to do at the same time (since that's probably every part on this car), but only parts that are really necessary for this job.

As this is a used kit, it didn't come with any additional nuts or bolts.

I'm aware of the the following parts but was wondering if there were others or better recommendations

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C5A0A8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=13ABIUUUKY86F&coliid=I107VAHC3UXJ0G

This thread made good references to the parts needed, but the diagrams used are no longer available.

Thanks in advance guys.

think you need strut mounts also. if your bolts are rotted youll need to replace those. post a pic of what you have and ill take a shot at it. :)

Thanks! Literally all I have are the struts and springs. In fact, I was given the old torn up rubber pieces that came in this

So I know those have to be replaced.

At 172k on what I'm pretty sure is the original suspension, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if I needed new mounts and bolts.

I just replaced my shocks and springs. I just removed and replaced the shocks and springs and reused the original nuts and bolts. I did use new bump stops and bellows. Unless you want everything new, you should be able to remove your old suspension and replace the shocks and springs along with the bump stops and bellows and just reuse everything else. Will just to rent a spring compressor. Make sure everything lines up and re-install.

Nice! How many miles on yours? Or how many miles since they were replaced last?

im not sure if youre using amazon due to prime or something, but these are cheaper on rock auto. go on zilvia and find rock autos most recent thread in the marketplace for a 5% off code.

Amazon is seldom cheapest these days. I always check them, but often buy from RockAuto. Rockauto has a superior parts search tool too.
