For the first 10,000 miles or so (from new) i drove my car on 93 octane gas. now that I'm in LA, i can only get 91 octane, would resetting the ecu benefit my per-tank mileage?

tia

and I'd also like to take this opportunity to say Sonny Chiba's role in Kill Bill was kickass.

IS is a smart car. It doesn't need an ECU reset every time you change gas octane number.

I just done filled up the gas tank at the Shell's station. Does I need to reset ECU??
Yes, here is how you do it right after filling up your car:
1) Insert key into iginiton
2) Turn key into ACC position
3) Turn key into ON position
4) Turn key into Ignition position
5) Wait 1.5 sec
4) Turn key back into ON position.

All set. :chill:
