This was posted before but since then I beleive there are a few newer bulletins. Such as a change in production on the bottom of the headlamp housing to prevent condensation, a problem I have seen posted on this site a few times.

They also mention the ECU reflash issue, and there's something about a steering wheel wheelnut spec. There's also a consumer complaint of a car losing power suddenly (that one sounds familiar from this board).

I was wondering what that wheelnut spec thing was all about. I also noticed on the owners section at lexus.com they have an area that notifies the owners of recalls or other service campaigns and nothing is listed there. They have all these people getting ECU updates and it's not even mentioned in that specific area of the site. It makes me wonder what they would list there if and when they do list something there.

i just spoke with warnock lexus yesterday. i brought my car in for the cd player and asked them to take a look at the trac ecu and the main ecu. i told them i spoke with (the big-wig) lexus and my vin # fell within' the service bulletin specs. turns out, my trac ecu upgrade is going down today. i asked about the main ecu and they said the trac ecu will update the main ecu. does this guy know what he's talking about? i thought the 2nd to 3rd hesitation was totally different from the trac ecu problem.

As listed on my service recipt from my last service on June 12th, it states the the ECU and TRAC ECU as two seperate fixes. Ask to speak with the diagnostic specialist(s) at the dealer, those guys should be able to help you a little more than the service rep..

They are two separate fixes. One can be
flashed, the other actually requires a
part change. I had to wait on mine for two
weeks becuase they ran out of parts. Your
dealer only did one of the changes then.

who do you take yours to in NC? I am using Flow Lexus in Kernersville..I have not yet asked them about the ECU/TRAC ECU update...didn't know if you had and how they reacted...thanks.
