I also removed the subframe collars, now the car feels so much nicer. I don't really notice a real "loss" here. No more unnecessary road noise and now I can go over crosswalks without having the whole rear of the car take the shock. RIP $60, if anyone wants them they can have them. Maybe I'll try them with the CV driveshaft, maybe I'll use them as shims for something else lol. I imagine on a drift car they'd make a difference, like Megan Racing advertises for their copy. Definitely not for daily use.
I never heard of this, what is this about?

Yesterday I smacked my intercooler against a concrete parking stopper, luckily it just scratched the bottom. I really need to find a new way to know how far I'm parked. I either hear the bumper scrape or my exhaust canister catch the concrete. That won't do, especially if I want a fiberglass kit. Maybe I'll pay attention more.
I know I commented on someone's thread here about how low their intercooler was. But like Pnut00 said, I installed a camera on the front of mine and hooked it to my aftermarket headunit screen with the normal video input. So I had a backup cam for reverse, and a normal front driving camera. It actually worked great, and I never had to smash my lip into curbs anymore.

edit, nevermind, you don't want a screen lol

Anyway, fake Ganadors:

Visibility is limited and at night they're useless, but who cares. The power function is a joke, but you can still manually adjust them. RIP good condition stock mirror wiring.
Yeah, I did that fad back with my first car. But even on that, it got old. Turns out, I like being able to see when I change lanes lol. Even on that car, I went back to stock. Then on the IS, I went with even more functional mirrors. And besides, "style points" are in the eye of the beholder. I personally don't even think small mirrors look good. But I must say that your set up looks better than most. Though putting a body kit on it might change that. Regardless, it looks great overall and I'm glad it's driving around! Hopefully nothing catches the bottom of that intercooler lol.

Turns out, turbo IS300's are dime a dozen this month.
With the number of people asking on here about how to turbo, it seems everyone and their grandmother is doing it. Though, I'm surprised that many people have been able to follow through with it like you have.

It always took me a while to get used to having a new rear view from the mirrors, but you should get used to it pretty fast (unless you drive other cars lol). At least you got a legit setup where the views are useable! The vertex kit will look good and should fit the radiator better(y) Love seeing these successful builds!
