I just thought it'd be a good idea to see how people's trannies have been holding up under different situations. Here's the deal...
If you're tranny has been replaced for any reason, please post the details in a simple, ordered format like so:

1. 5spd Replaced under warranty
2. Replaced at 22K miles

OR

1. 5spd broke
2. Was using XXX brand upgraded clutch
3. 22K miles total, F/I for 7K miles
post your details of your daily driving next
4. Toyomoto Stage II turbo, usually around 400rwhp at 12psi
5. 5spd broke in 3rd gear merging onto the highway
6. Replaced with V160

OR

1. 5spd holding strong!
2. PHR upgraded clutch
3. 22K miles, F/I for 7K
4. PHR Stage II Turbo, around 400rwhp at 12psi

Use the rest of the space to post any other information you think could be helpful, etc...

1. Still on my 5 speed.
2. PHR upgraded Clutch
3. 23,000 miles. Over one year and near 13,000 miles on turbo
4. 7 psi -- 387 rwhp, 14 psi -- 450 rwhp. 21 psi -- 540 rwhp and 549 rwtq.

2.Act 6puck Clutch..Unorthodox Flywheel
3.50 miles with new cutch ..Blew in 1st gear ...
4.Toyomoto Stage 3
5. Replacing with V-160

Was your ACT sprung or unsprung? Unsprung clutches will blow out your tranny in no time!

1. 5 speed still holding strong
2. 25,000 miles on car/ 7,000 miles on boost
3. Daily driven at 8psi/330rwhp or 9psi/350rwhp
4. RPS 6 puck clutch with sprung hub

2. PFS clutch
3. 20k on the car, 500 with the clutch, 3k with F/I
4. PFS Stage II
5. W55 broke in 5th gear on the highway
6. Replaced with R154

5 speed replaced , cause of the grinding and popping out of 4th

20K miles, warranty but had to go thru hell to get them to do it

lawyers, BBB etc

Same stats for me except the hassle part of it. Just told them about the popping they verified and replaced.

5 spd. running great. I'm boosting about 7lbs daily.

~12,000 miles on the car...and ~2,000 miles on the turbo.

1) 5sp replaced under warranty for bad 4th synchro causing it to pop outta fourth
2) 32k
3) VIN ending: 45198

I think it my be interesting to add some VIN numbers to this list...I'll add mine when I get home.

1. 5spd holding strong!
2. stock clutch
3. 24,990K miles, F/I for 19K
4. SRT Stage III SC 8PSI 260 rwhp and SRT Stage II Turbo 7PSI, around 300rwhp at 7psi

I'll post for guru22.

1. 5spd blew around 25k
2. TBKO clutch
3. 22k? around 18k f/i

the caveot is that it ran fine w/ TBKO StgI(330whp) for 13-14k miles. Ran Stg2 around 12psi(340-350) no problem. Started running 15psi(380whp-415wtq) daily and it went within a week.

ps the milage may be a tad off but I just wanted to put it in for the record for this thread.

1.) had 01 auto, w/ shift kit, held nicely
2.) hit a wall at drag strip, car totalled
3.) but tranny still worked.. :lol:

Then

1.) 02 5sp
2.) blew out 3rd gear at 4500rpms, on 11psi
3.) discintagrated(sp) 3rd gear.
4.) locked up entire tranny..
5.) swaped out for a Getrag v160
6.) running great w/ the 6sp.
