i test drobe it at longo. the loooong stick looked ugly. dribing it seemed like dribing a manual corolla or camry. god it was so lousy. i thought it was gonna make the car quicker but it's just like e-shift. to me the 5 speed made the is300 look and feel cheaper. iono maybe i've been using e-shift too long.

I could not disagree more. I don't own an IS300 (yet!). However, I have driven both transmissions recently. The 5 speed is the sh_t!

Could this be a severe case of sour grapes?

I will give you one point . . . the stick does seem a little too tall. But, this is easily forgotten about once you feel the way it drives . . . QUICK & SMOOTH!
