We no longer use the 2.8mm HG. We currently use the 2.5mm HG and we sell it for $225.00 SHIPPED. And best of all we have it stock ready to ship.Yeah I just check thier website and its a 2.8mm for $295, I think so far this is what I will make do with.
How much of a difference will .2mm make? Is it worth $100?
as far as compression goes, is this pretty accuratePlease do not assume anything was wrong just so because we stopped using it.
We switched because the 2.8 was lowering the compression just a tad more than we wanted.
Stock compression is 10.5:1 on the IS. I believe the gte hg is about 1.5 mm.
The following are compressions with just a hg and ge stock internals:
1.5 mm- 9.4:1
2 mm- 9.1:1
2.5 mm- 8.8:1
3 mm- 8.5:1.
Just because you have lower compression does not mean that you can run more boost. You muct make sure that you have proper fuel as well as proper engine management, YOU MUST HAVE A FULL STANDALONE EMS TO DO IT PROPERLY!2.8mm HG >>> 8.42:1
With this being me^^^ I can run more boost than 18psi????
