Why is it that the 330i is atleast .5 second faster to 60 than the IS 5 speed. It has 10 more hp but it weighs more and has less torque. Is it in the gearing?? How do you think the IS would fare with a SRT intake??
Thanks!

if u do a search on gearing, i showed a program i made that calculated speeds at redline for different gear ratios, the auto IS had to get into third gear to hit 60...the manual will not. so hopefully, along with the less power loss through the drivetrain, it will take off a decent amount of time to make it somewhat competitive off the line

ps - the program is here, u need VB6 runtime files downloadable at microsoft.com
