Beside the # of doors, what's the difference between a 330i and 330Ci?

Why does 330i hase better 0-60mph than 330Ci?

The suspension...330ci comes with sports suspension, you have to get Sports package with the 330i to get that.
Also, I believe the steering wheel is different, and the body panels are a bit different.
The coupe is heavier than the sedan also, as bassackwards as that seems

The body panels look the same but in fact are completely different. Neither coupe or sedan share the same body panels. While the the coupe does weigh more than the sedan...the weight difference is only 33lbs.
Seems like a topic for www.bimmer.org

I thought performance. numbers were identical or just about. (33lbs is almost a negligble weight gain)

the new 330I posted a 0-60 time of 6.1 and quater mile time of 14.6. I dunno what the 330CI does?
One is timed faster becasue of different drivers and test track conditions. Also, remember that the horsepower rating is a design rating. They designed it on the computer to have that horsepower but that doesn't mean that ALL engines will have exactly that horsepower. Some will have slightly more or less.
Strange as it seems, when I configured a 330i and a 330Ci to have the same options (sport package, xenon, moonroof, CD, HK upgrade, fold down seats for the sedan because they're standard in the coupe), the coupe came out slightly less expensive than the sedan! Usually, the sedan is less expensive than the coupe.

It all depends what package you get with the bimmer. The sports package is cheaper with the coupe because it already comes with the sport suspensions. I think there are also other options that are standard on the coupe which are not on the sedan...might be different for you though cause I'm in canada and the packages and options are a bit different. I also got a lower price quote from dealers with a 330ci than I did with a 330i.
A lot of people don't even realize it, but they're two totally different cars on the outside. The headlights, taillights, front end etc.... are very much different.

The Ci (2-door) has a wider stance, uses wider looking taillights. Even the angle of the windshield is steeper in the Ci.

I think the performance numbers are identicle, or at least as close as possibe to identicle between the two.
