What is the sequence I have to go through to properly unbolt the head fromt he block, without warping the deck? Also, for bolting it back on. What are the torque specs?

Thanks.

I'm assuming you removed the cam shaft caps in the correct order?

Get some ARP head studs since you're doing the headgasket swap and torque it to 70 ft/lbs. The stock head bolts are 26 ft/lbs (according to the manual).

The stock head bolts are 26 ft/lbs YES but then you need to turn them an additional 180* ---- which is about 70-75ft/lbs. The manual neglects to elaborate on that. I just do an "X" pattern from outer to inner and to reinstall i do an "X" patter from inner to outer. pretty much how it states in the manual which direction you go is irrelevant. as long as the forces are distributed evenly.
