Currently replacing a rear hub bearing on my
Lexus is350 and when it came time to put on the rear axle nut it Dosent want to go in after about the fith thread. Are the axel nuts supposed to be very difficult to get on? Did I buy the wrong size? The two parts seem identical.
If anyone has done this job on a second gen IS please let me know.

Check that your axle spline isn't cross threaded or damaged. I don't have a 2IS though so I don't know if there's any differences on the hubs.

Is it a lock nut? If not make sure your axle nut and axle have the same thread pitch.
