well, i noticed that when you hover over an extension page of the one that someone posted a link of for the new altezza colors for japan, that it gave 3 american symbols admist the japanese characters. when i went over white, i recognized them as paint color codes, so when i hovered over the blue, it read "8N8" and i did a search (per HiBBoyScotts suggestion - thanks scott) dating back to april 9th, where tony had posted the paint code color for the new unamed blue color. turns out it was 8N8, so it is confirmed that it is the replacement blue for SBM. if someone can read japanese (HiBBoy ?) they might even be able to translate the japanese characters, next to the 8N8, to english, please post it if you do.

here are the links:

Ok guys, the color code for the new blue is 8N8. If someone knows how to look
this up for the actual name, feel free to post it.

Also, the new gold color is NOT Vintage Gold, it's another entirely new color as
well.

Hmmm. So, how did color code 8j9 turn into 8N8? The Japan Toyota color schemes may differ from those to be sold in North America, as often happens. I am very interested in a 2002 IS300 in blue...

thanks
