2 DOOR IS300 (PICS inside)

I wish I had the article that I found that stated that it was just a computer enhanced picture but put out by Lexus engineers. Sorry I can't prove it but that was what I had read.

notice how the black line on the window goes past the sill.
also how the doors look so straight.

Assuming the 'S' in IS stands for sedan, wouldnt the coupe version need a new name?

IC300 sounds okay.

I think they'd rather much keep it consistent and just call it the IS300-C. Of course if people took to calling it the IS300 C-type, that would make it sound too much like a Honda. Just out of curiosity I've had the debate over what the E in ES stands for, Executive or Entry level, the only ones Im positive about are SC and LS, not even sure what RX or LX stand for.

The "ES" in ES300 is for Executive Sedan.

hey guess you're right! its is fake! but i thought the gs meant Grand Sport????? that's what i read but ten there is the SC300's that was sports coup...?

Has any1 ever heard of some1 making a early 200s is300 into a 2 door??

Might be neat but the reason I went with the IS over my SC was because it was 4 doors doesn't mean it would not be cool to see or good for someone else.

I love the 4 door....but me and my brother been talkn n we are both fabricators and were wondering if its been done....i have 2 is's so i keep one 4 door and the other i get 2 chop up!! Jus interior will be tricky....but i will post pics on this thread when i start!!!

I have some experience with putting two halves together.
I would plan on making some custom sub-frame bars. To keep it solidly flat. Just doing sheet metal will have issues. Without reinforcement. Same with welding temperelly some bar to the shell to stabilize it. While it has it other half cut off. Just a few point to watch out for. There is a lot more. Good Luck.
