I bought my 2007 Lexus IS 350 last year used from a dealership and found out that the drivers side rear door power door lock does not work. I have just dealt with it the last year but now I'm tired of manually locking it. It is not under warranty.

The Key Fob and the Auto lock/unlock control inside the vehicle locks and unlocks all the doors except the drivers side rear door. For this door I have to manually lock it by flipping the switch.

Does anybody know what the problem may be and how can I fix it myself?

Also can someone please tell me how to remove that door panel. I wanted to make sure all the wires were connected but didn't want to ruin the door in the process.

Please help me if you can, thank you so much!!

It has no relay. Its controlled by the theft deterrent ECU and body ECU and communicate via Multiplex communication/CAN bus.

And its pretty common for the door lock actuators to go bad.

Just realized this is an old thread, my bad.
