The brake booster will only fit one way, with the vacuum hose upside down. I'm wondering if I can put this new one in and just get an extended tube to connect to the vacuum hose on the bottom. Will this run the same?

I second the question above. The right booster should fit normally unless you are not stock.

That being said, it’ll work upside down. It’s a vacuum storage tank with a plunger.
This is the answer I was hoping for... Bought it from a guy from eBay claiming it was for an IS300. I put it on and used an extended hose from O'Reillys and it fit fine. I have to bleed my brakes tomorrow then I can let you and anyone else with the same problem know how it goes.
