  1. Best budget Slotted rotors?

    General Discussion
Slotted are only good for track. It will have increased brake performance but your pads will wear faster than with regular flats. I would recommend blank rotors for street daily use. This Power Stop set is one of the best for daily driving and do not rust over time.

Change the cabin filter behind the glove box. Getting your flange bolts re-torqued may save headache in the future with your driveshaft. Clean the throttle body and intake once you start the valve cover job.
  8. Vibration @ acceleration

    General Discussion
I will check again to be sure and maybe get some pictures and a video of the stuff I see. It looks like something is slowing the wheels down then loosens up every 2.5 seconds. Which is causing the movement in the diff. I will pay more attention to the diff and driveshaft when this happens and...

Ok so I was able to look at the car some. The engine mounts appear fine. Transmission mount looks a bit rough but don't look terrible. Probably change it for the heck of it. Oh ok. So its more of a feeling than sound. I would first check the belt tensioner and balancer. These would cause the most roughness in this situation.

    General Discussion
Can you describe the rough sound you speak of? Squeaking can be the belt, belt/pulley misalignment, or crank pulley. Rattle/Knocking can be the idle tensioner, idle tensioner pulley, a/c compressor bearings, alternator bearings or also the crank pulley.
  20. Guy hit me from behind while I was parked, estimates?

    General Discussion
The 'plastic piece' you referring I think is the rear bumper support. its metal but its repairable. I see under the trunk lid is smashed in. That is frame damage and will need to be pulled or cut/weld.
