Yah man, no problem. Those Haltech units are old ones and you might run into problems finding people willing to tune them. IIRC the F10X only did fuel and not spark while the E6X did both. A standalone is ideal because most tuners will work on them. Not too many people will work on say an Emanage Ultimate or something like that. Best thing is to find a tuner who'll be working on your car and ask him what he feels most comfortable with. Here's an old cliche....Cheap, Reliable and Fast, pick two.

Anyways, have fun with the mini project, stay safe and thank you for serving man.

Thanks for the quick reply, good to know. I have had to idea to just keep it N/A since I started looking around, the truth is a lot of the old Management systems seem to have gone off the market and its taking a lot of time I don't have to find the units the same company has put out as a replacement to the discontinued ones. Haltech's F10X and E6X for example, which is the one I wanted on account of them being, reportedly, very reliable. I can't find a seller for those but truthfully I havn't asked anyone on here if they're selling or not. I went to the site but the page is blank for those products, either navy internet sucks (which is likely) or its discontinued. But yeah, I appreciate the info either way, take it easy!

Whats up, I saw your reply a few days back regarding your turbo build and you said that it's been good to you for 4+ years now. Im learning a lot lately and im curious what kind of engine management you went with and what you like/don't like about it. Im pretty good with mechanics (engineer in the Navy) but im still new to the electronics side of everything with regards to forced induction systems.
